Cops, Thieves, Politicians... and the Virus!

Time: the present. Place: Recently independent, cosmopolitan Pfambecu, now hit by viral outbreak and international sanctions following an infected ape’s escape, allegedly misrepresented to the medical community and abroad. Politicians minimize the problem, stress need for public order and no panic, discuss solutions with entrepreneurial community, meet in Parliament to approve confinement and other virus-fighting measures, and stress positivism, economic recovery and a resolute stance against punitive sanctions and the war looming to the East. Meanwhile, police battle to combat crime with mask, other antiviral gear, in a cops and robbers game with a hacker and robber gang operating under the guise of social kitchen. Unexpected and comic situations arise as cops, thieves and politicians head toward converging in one place for a cataclysmic climax... always under pressure from the virus!
